e23- what to look for???

Hey all,
Im considering a 1983 733, appears to be in decent overall condition, its an auto with 289k miles on it. It smokes a bit at start up and the rear drivers door wont latch shut. I was wondering if any one had any words of wisdom of anything else to look for and whether it may be a worth picking up... Thanks!!!!

As "KC Ron Carter" noted, be sure the heater/a/c controls & blower function properly, repairs and the panels are $$$, the smoke when starting is of some concern, the door latch springs break and the rear latches 'seize' up due to lack of use sometimes. Source a 'clean' used one if needed.
