35 inch tires on a...

35 inch tires on a 22re...

Anyone think my small ass 4 banger will be able to push 35's? Anyone try this or know of any cheap mods i could do to the 22re to boost a little horse or anything. I was thinking about a new air intake or headers...

ys i know a few people with 36 superswampers with heavy chromes it will push but i would switch to the sr5 v6

Here's something I did. Had a 86 w/ 22re. Lifted it 4 inches, put in a locker w/4.88 gears(rear), trutac up front with the same ratio. Then some 33's. Your 4 will be hurting pushing those 35, and w/o a lift you'll be rubbing. Also, becarful of the tire size. You might end up damaging you IFS in the long run.
