Cold Air Extension fell off today!

I was pulling into Walmart (work) today and when I was going over one of the speed bumps I heard like a scraping and was like shit this car is too fucking low. But then this retarded cart pusher, 2 managers and a door greeter were like staring and pointing at my car and then i realized what it was. My cold air extension had falled off and my filter was scraping against the ground. Luckily I only went like 20 feet and it was only a lil scratched. I shut it off, got out and popped the hood. When I had put the extensiuon back on, after it rained, I didnt put the clamp on over the bump on the tube so tube just came right out of the sleeve thing and had fallen through the bumper. I was embarrased as shit and then my manager started giving my tips with it and stuff (apparently hes hooking up his TDI Jetta Wagon, which is supposedly pretty quick, and his sons car). I felt like such a NOOB damnit.

I accually lost an air filter off my gremlin one time (carbed so it sits on top of the motor). The motor has fucking insane torque twist on the motor and it twisted when I shifted gears and wedged the whole chrome filter assembly up agaisnt the hoold and it snaped the stud holding it to the carb and it came off and fell down to the road. but anyway.... You should have left that steak knife sticking in the bumper to hold it up Hehe

That sux... gotta make sure your clamps are all connected right periodically, but you know that now... LoL

yeep...i crushed my filter before :(

it wasnt a steak knife damnit! It was a switchblade! lol. My friends filter fell off his car when he was going down the road and he ran over it. So now he wont use his cold air extension anymore.

lol thats what happen when you guys buy those ebay cold air intakes.....lol....j/p
