Last year I was driving my stock (at the time) GST in the snow etc etc.....It gets around great actually in the snow being FWD, Just lay off the go peddle and make sure you have traction and your fine. It get's down to 10 or so degrees sometimes here in missouri. I let my car warm up for 5-10 minutes before driving it and everything was fine. Just be sure you let the oil pressure build up before driving and keep boost as low as possible if you didn't let it warm up and you should be fine (but I am not a DSM expert so don't hold me to that), But a nice 5-10 min warm-up is HIGHLY recomened. Mine ran like crap when it was cold without a warmup.

i think ANY car needs to be warmed up before driving especially in the winter...especially turbo's. but i would never just get up and go without letting it warm up

I live in Minnesota also and have gone through 2 winters with my GS-T and never had too much trouble...FWD...Use the turbo lag as your spin buffer and right before it boosts let off just enough.
If it snows more than 6 inches before plowed...don't go anywhere!!! LOL
YES YES YES let your car warm up!!!Any car..your car my car or his'n'hers cars.
