Question about college

I've been looking into Wyoming Tech for going to college for metal fabrication/custom industries. I went down and visited the campus is PA and it looks pretty decent and professional. Anyone had any experience with this school or its graduates(all good or bad feedback welcome)? Would be greatly appriciated. Thanks-Peace

Wyo Tech is the best "automotive" school out there. I've worked with wyo tech grads and they all had good things to say about the programs. I almost went to the Larime(sp*) campus but a girl was to important at the time, what a mistake that was.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I honestly haven't heard anything negative about this school expect that they don't have on-campus dorms(for me thats a plus, cuz i don't wanna live in a gross ass dorm), and its kindof expensive(around 28G's a year). Other than that everything looks pretty copesetic. I shall be starting in October. Peace-

It is expensive compared to the other schools, but's it's like comparing a community college to Notre Dame. Well not really but you get the point.

Hey greenblur, I'm probably going to be going there around the same time. Still have to have my interview... Week after christmas. I'd take the automotive strain, Chassis fabrication and race engine building. Maybe hot rod fab too if I can...

'05. I'm taking a different course than you, so I guess mine wasn't as full as yours. I'm taking automotive tech w/ chassis fabrication + high performance engines.

$28K :eek7:

Christ, I paid $3100 for 9 months tuition at my college when I took my fab programl. I guess it's because Canada subsidizes our post secondary schools a lot more... At least for trades.

Well I'm registered to start classes in October, Night Shift. Will be taking Collision & Refinishing plus applied service managment. I Wanna take street rod, chassis fab, and upholstery but the tuition for each one of those is $4,900 more than I thought it was so instead of $2,900 for each its $7,800. Student loans here I come. Peace-
