48k miles, automatic 3.0l v6 99' ford ranger xlt...
when, and only when, i'm accelerating on an incline i hear this "ticking" noise in the rear of the truck, by the differential i guess... just started making this very audible clicking/ticking noise a few days ago. again, it's only when im going up a hill and goes away as soon as it levels out. doesn't make it going down hill either. any help/advice would be appreciated...
