front end conversion

has anyone ever done a frontend conversion on a crx. ive read about an rsx, silvia, and integra frontend. i want to try a 92-00 civic. i found a how to from AF but it dosent go into too much detail and there arent any pics, pics always help me out. i know mostly wat parts are needed but if anybody has any input, all is appreciated. thanx.

parts needed:
hood
fenders
rad support(just wat exactly does that look like)
headlites
bumper

in my opinion it doesnt look like it matches. ive seen a picture of one with that front end; the ek civic frontend is more curvy then the crx's shape.

you'll need to use the frame rails in the front too probably, in order to run the front bumper rebar.....you'll have to almalgamate the front of the 5th gen fenders with the rear of the 4th gen ones.

how do you remove the core support and can i get some pics of it alone.

the 6th gen frontend on a crx looks real good because of it being round on a square car and in order to make it look stock you need to add the biggest spoiler ever, like those fake "type r" ones you see or maybe even a alluminum one( yeah you know the ones they call erector sets, bookshelfs, tv antennnas,etc...) yeah that would look killer tight!!!

I think the 96-00 front end looks really good on there. Actually, a guys around town just did an integra front end on his 92-95 hatch. It all works and man is it awesome cause you think it's an integra following you till he turns off and you see the back end. Completely freaked me out cause of the great work he did on it.

I think it would be the other way around cause u would've done something different and people will notice it and say, wow that looks kool! It's just if u do a crappy job, you'll get made fun of.

i like that red crx alot, just ditch the wing and i would rock it!

Quick Q. Will the 88-91 headlights work for an 87 Rex Si? If not, I might be converting my front end to an 88... I would love not having fiberglass fenders and that stupid header panel.

Thats why I'm doing a teg conversion, its matches the 4th gen nice in terms of roundness/squareness.

To me the ek and eg swap looks pretty damn good and clean..But that accord swap looks huge as hell on them things..The eg swap looks around the best cause kinda old and its not rounded as much..But i would do either eg ro ek swap..
