well think i found a problem with my car. i might not have an ecu. is there any other way to hook up a boost controller if an ecu is not present but i have a stand alone engine management system?

your ecu is the engine management system. I maintain the opinion that you need to take your car to a PROFESSIONAL tuning shop, and have it checked out. EMS tuning isn't easy

some stand-alone systems have a boost control integrated you just need a map sensor. If i were you I would trailer the car to a proffessional shop. No-knowledge of a standalone equals another mr2 in a garage with a blown motor. Just get help dude, it will be worth it.

your car is too unique, and you got it that way, we could guess all day but its not really any use asking stuff unless you actually know the problem, then perhaps people can help.
