Couple questions, the light comes on in my friends car.
this is the preface thread:

I pulled out the abs sensor clip so that I wouldn't hurt the actual clip going into the sensor, smart right? heh
I forgot to put it back in, I pushed the brakes and of course the ABS light came back on. Now, I put it back in gave the car back and the light is still on.
I know of somepeople that have problems with their ABS when they havn't changed their fluid in 2 years +.
I am going to go back out tomorrow and check to make sure the sensor is still in. If it is, is there a way to reset the ABS system to do a reboot?
thanks

the problem is that grand am have crap wheel speed sensors... and they are really crappy to replace so unless you want to pay about 700 for a fix up let it be and pop out the abs, trac off, and svs bulbs like me and save yourtself the trouble

Could simply mean your stop lamp fuse blew the abs will turn off if the pc detects no stop lights. Its like a 10 amp mini fuse in my ga when mine blows this is what happens same happened to my friends alero alls it took was replacing the fuse.
