tranny

I posted in the main forum but anyways....when im driving in 1-3rd gears at about 2g's the car has a slight jerk to it almost like a tooth is missing somewhere and it lets off for a sec and then goes. also when i let off of the gas in lets say 3rd it jerks enough to make you do a little head bob...does it sound like my tranny has some problems?
