Firebird and Camaro Forum Merge

Dear Firebird Members,
We have been debating whether or not it would be benificial to merge the Firebird and Camaro forums together into one. This would provide the benefit of bringing members with shared platform vehicles together to make information more available to members with either type of car.
The Firebird forum would still be located in the same place in the Pontiac forum and the Camaro forum would remain in the Chevy forum. However the two forums would redirect to the same mutual forum.
Let us know if you think this merge would improve or hinder the Firebird community.
Thank you,
-Jacob

i would also say no. there is already rivalry between firebirds and camaros, no need to bring the 2 together and make it worse. the fourms are seperated for a reason :P

Guys I just wanted to give you a heads up on something that has been mentioned in the Camaro forum but not posted here and for those of you that don't read the Camaro threads.
What we are discussing now is making Sub-Catagory's like the One used in Camaro forum linked between both Camaro/Firebird Forums and leave the Main Forum's seperate. I think this offer's us the best of both world's. We would have a choice if we wanted to post in the Sub Catagory where we both could both respond or would prefer to have just the Firebird Community view our thread and also would have imput on questions we might have from people with the same drivetrain who might know something about the Subject. Anyway I like the idea but we are also looking for imput but the idea for the most part has gone over well in the Camaro forum and I suggest you read the Thread posted there.

as general stuff it should be seperate but engine stuff anf suspension stuff should be cross linked. thier are too many similarities to have them not be the same forum. i know i never check the camaro page, so if someone has a problem with thier ignition system that i can help with and i dont read it they could be wasting a ton of time and money.

well was there a reason for the camaro and firebird to be rivals? most of them were the same.

No reason but lot of cars, Take a stab at each over with having alot of the Same parts. For instance how many of you with L98 or LT1 or LS1 have raced or wanted to race or beat a Vette even though the Vette used all of those engine's . It doesn't have to make sense just the way some people think. I'm not one of them because I love both of them but everyone is entitled to have there opinion.
