ever since i bought my car the fuel door release button doesn't work. It is somthing in the electronics. i have checked all of the fuses that seem relivant but none of them were bad. Any suggestions on where to go from here to fix it?

:smokin:I guess you know about the manual fuel door release in the trunk?

Pop the switch unit out of the dash and check it's function with a multi-meter. It should show continuity once you press the button. You can also use the meter on the fuses and the breaker under the back seat just to doublecheck. Then go back and see if you can take out the little solenoid that actually releases the fuel door. Check that it's getting power there, and if so, replace it.

If not, I'd guess a wiring problem, in which case an automotive electrical specialist shop is almost always your best bet. They are going to be leaps and bounds ahead at tracking down issues and actually fixing them over a regular garage.
