My 99 GA's trunk light doesn't work all the time, in fact almost never.
It has come on just a few times I cannot find anything that controls the trunk light any ideas of what to do/check?

The trunk light switch is usually located with the trunk latch as one piece. You may have to take it apart and see if it is damaged or corroded, or it may not be plugged in properly. If it is corroded you may be able to use sandpaper on the electrical contacts to clean them up, that should the trick.

I have a 94 which when I got the trunk light didnt work well either. (NOt sure if they used the same type of light)
But mine has a springy metal piece that comes out of the side of the light and when you open the trunk, the hinges make contact with this piece causing the light to be grounded which turns it on. The point at which this made contact was dirty. Was no need to take anything apart.
Again not sure if its the same...
