door locks partically work

I have a 1994 Chev Astro and The door lock on the drivers side will lock the other doors,but will not open them.The passenger side will open or lock the doors

I have a manual,but its not chilton

Any ideas

If I'm not to late, you should change the drivers switch. Try swapping the pass. dr. switch to find out.
