Problem with LSD or Traction Cntrl

Need help if anyone with a 1998 GTT had this problem.. On first gear taking off real bad sound coming from left rear end sounds like gears grinding..but all is ok once i get to second and up...previous owner changed to aftermarket LSD and I dont know if this would be normal....can i get a hand from anyone...
