Im looking at an 05 focus and have a question about traction control. I was wondering if I got this option would it be good or bad for performance? If I add a ton of performance parts would this adversly affect the performance of my car? Just curious cause i have no idea what it would do?

If you're going to be seriously and i mean SERIOUSLY turning this car into a real racer, then don't buy the traction control because it's more then likely you'll have to by-pass it with all the electronic stuff you'll be having to change if you really supe this sucker up.
Traction control i personally don't like on dry road straight line drag racing. But for twisty racing, for slippery roads, even wet roads, i think it's a great added safety feature for less experienced drivers. I'm not a pro myself, but 7 years of driving is much more experienced then 2 if you get my drift.
But then again, you're modding the car. Unless you plan on having it stock, i wouldn't bother considering your intent.
Cheers.

i dont reccomend T/C... for one i personally dont like it.. 2, it will hurt you performance.. you dont race with it, and usually u will forget its on and fuck up your race, also i have heard from other focus owners with T/C that they dont like it either and some with they never got it... its all up to you, but if you are racing alot and doing a bunch of mods... dont waste your time or money on it.. just my opinion..
