stock amps?

i heard there was a stock amp on the eclipse gst.. do u guys think i can put a 12" sub audiobanh in it? or do i need a new amp?

There is no way you can. Unless you have a really lame Sub. I took the amp out of my gsx. You can find your amp under the passenger seat. Its really small and probably wont push a 12 even if it could. The problem with the amp is that it uses plugs that are too old and the sub connection probably dosnt have that old of equitment. I put a Alpine head unit in my gsx and I couldnt even run it threw the amp because the amp was so old =(!

Just go down to Good Guys or Tweeters and get a Amp on sell for 100 bucks. It will probably push your sub pretty good. The stock infinty system isnt too bad. =D Im addings 2 Kicker L7 8s and a Focal 2 way seperate system. Thinkin about buying a Kicker 5 channel amp to run everything =D!
