OK,I've searched and read every thread but still uncertain on fixes-causes. :screwy:
1) On the tranny acting like it's slipping, either won't move at dead stop or acting like it's dragging from a dead stop,I read that the dealer can reprogram? the computer. What do I tell the dealer to do or what needs to be done?I've had it checked a couple of times and they've said no problems.
2)The fuel gauge(only one)acts up quite a bit.The gauge, usually when at a stop or idoling, drops to empty and the low fuel display comes up.A few seconds later it will SLOWLY star to climb back up to full or whatever, sometimes it will float up and down a quarter tank when not moving.Bad sending unit or loose connection?Easy to get to?

Thanks in advance,Rick

I will start with the fuel sensor question first, It is a bad unit. There are alot of these out there and they cost, if I remember correctly, about $300 at your dealer. There is a way to fix it yourself that I seen on this site but it looked like a pain to do. And as far as your tranny problem goes I had something simalar to this happen to me, it ended up being the rear end was torn out or going out. But that might not be your problem.

I know it's not the rearend as it's been checked a couple of times. :banghead: Just normal slap and Chevy clunk. It's been doing this tranny thing since I bought it with 12,000 miles. Not alot just intermitent enough to be annoying.More ideas??
