R34 Skylines & Availability

I've searched through these forums and the question is an iffy. Can I get a clear cut, definate answer to this question?: Will the Skyline R34 V-Spec II be available in 8-12 years?

8-12 years is the time frame I am stuck working with at my young age, and I cannot seem to remember if it is M-Spec II Nur or if it is the V-Spec II Nur. Don't flame me because I honestly cannot remember :disappoin

Thanks,
~Xujinko

Oh and I don't mean to double-post, but I heard that the M-Spec is better in endurance runs and the V-Spec is better in the 1/4. Clarify this aswell?

Thanks,
~Xujinko

Your guess is as good as anyone.....throw a dart at a randomly skewed five year calender, ask a magic eightball, or visit the oracle of delphi. Tell me if you get anything good!

Pfft, I'm not calling MotoRex until I am sure which car I want to buy, if any. Plus, Nissan might, in the grace of any god out there, make a new Skyline model within that 8-12 year span.

Btw, thanks for the pics Avalanche. For some reason the M-Spec appeals to me more than the V-Spec, but that is a far shot of the V. :grinyes:

Not at all. I'm glad I don't or I might have turned out to be a pompous prick like some of the fellows here on the boards.

so how do you plan on getting the money for an r34, they are pricey, if you live in the US then it really will be expensive but you wont be able to get a 34.

I understand. The plan I have going for me now is actually an 8-12 year plan, so I have time. The job I hope to get will hopefully ensure my financial status aswell as be able to transport me to Japan where I can save up for that delicious R34.

Though, I still need to see the performance tests on the R34 and R33 because I like them both.

make sure that you still will like these cars by then. I mean they will always be awsome cars in my opinion but your only 15, other things in life come up not just cars but family ect...

the performance is the same on the r34 and r33...well basically. they very slightly due to weight. but same hp, same torque, blah blah. but just wait, youll want to move out and get a daily driver before you get a skyline, and then youll be singing a different tune. i recently started the process of getting an r32 from motorex. but, once you have other expenses, things are different. thats how i was in high school i was like oh man im getting a skyline blah blah. but then all of a sudden im living on my own with other car payments and bills. things seem different.

I hear ya. I was making no gesture toward a Skyline being my first car. Hell, I can hardly drive a stick now, lmao. But living expenses aswell as any life/medical/dental insurence will be covered.

I never realized that skylines were so popular until after I got my first one. I was just out car shopping and I bought the car. then I talked to my friend mike and told him I got a skyline and he was all excited. I was like, what the fuck? so? he's like, do you know what a skyline is? and I said... "uhh... what?" Completely no clue what I was getting myself into. Now look at me. I'm on the journey to GT-R I've had many skylines along the way but I still have a ways to go. The way my life is right now though, it's just going to have to wait a few years but I will get my GT-R.

My dream car is still a Vette though C2 or a C4 or C5.
The only thing about my dream that has changed because of skylines is this: Now my dream car is a Vette C2, C4 or C5 WITH TWIN TURBOS!!! :-)

Montey Williams is living that dream:
