for just the sub stage you can get a pretty good set up. good enough to warrant upgrade to componet sets and remote amplifiers (not running the moff of the HU)

i'd say get that, it will get pretty damn loud, i have about 300 running to mine and its loud as hell with gerat sq. this sub is great. get a box made at a local cabinetry shop, and buy wiring from wal-mart. that's under 600, and if you want more get 2 12's or 2 10's, and maybe a jbl 1200.1 for 200$ at sounddomain http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLBP12001Z

1 DD 3515 or 1 RE SX 15 with a 9.1 will be just over 600 and will be quite loud. or look into brahama.

i have a 8600, it was only $350, but yeah it kicks ass, and go to swap meets and stuff for the subs and amp, my friend got 2 12" power acustic subs, a nice amp (1700 watts), and all the speaker wire, for like 400 bucks.
