Question about Prelude

I am driving a 90 Prelude Si, but the mileage is too high that I think soon I will have to replace it. but I don't want to use the same model of engine. So can I replace it with other engines which are more powerful than the stock motor? For example, the engine of the 95 prelude or other models?

I think you might want to stick with the B series, if that's what's under the hood right now.

like the b20, b21 b22 so on?

B21, B20a5, or JDM B20a. The only other swap that would be worth it is the H22. But thats going to cost you. Stay with a 3rd gen motor. JDM replacements are reasonable in price. I got one a few weeks ago. Let me know if you want the info where I got it.

ide just stick w/ the b20a5 thats in it, just pull it out and get it rebuilt, but if u wanna do somthin tricky then get a b20b block from a crv and get a gsr head from a 98 or wutever integra and slap that on there and have a cr-vtech motor that will haul ass, personly i love my b20a5, there really torkey engines, and they last for a while, mines got like 178g's on it right now.....and i once had a crx with 238g's LOL.....

h22 has quite a bit more due to vtec

h22 vtec, it has 190hp and 158ft lbs, the 5th gen h22's hav 200hp. the S also has the h22 but with a single cam and 130hp. h23 has 160hp and 156ft lbs

The S model doesnt have an H22 in it, it has a F22. :nono:
