average cost of muffler installation?

i bought a new muffler and i wanted to know about how much i should expect installation to be?

If you go to a good muffler shop and you're gonna get all the piping done also it should be around a 100 bucks...and make sure that the muffler does mandrel bends on their piping so that you get better exhaust flow and less restrictions.....but to just install just the muffler should be about 50 bucks....

Probably around $30 to just put the muffler on. It shouldn't be over $50 though.

i got mine installed for $25.

but the guy only cut off my stock muffler and weld the new muffler to the orginal pipe....

Around how much does it cost to get a full catback exhaust installed?

thanks everyone for your input. The place near me said they would put new piping on and install the muffler for $75. That sounds good to me

i got my full cat back installed for like 35 bucks. and they even cut my stock pipes in two so i can fit it in my car.
