Having problems with when i am trying to keep it at a constant speed the car starts to jerk when i take my foot off it goes back to where it is I have already changed the fuel filter got the timing readjusted also new spark plugs. Could it be that one of my air hoses is plug if not what is wrong,

Sounds like your throttle postition sensor is outta wack.

Better get some wack for it then. I have had the same problem with mine, and changing the tps didn't correct it, many recalibrations later, and still no luck.

Did you try replacing the unit? Perhaps the computer isn't getting enough power either.. I'm experiencing that with my g13B engine swap right now. The ECU gets a lack of a good 12v after turning on accessories, and misses like mad at lower RPM's. Studders.

just had same problem with a 91 metro. would sputter and sometimes stall when you went to take off. seemed better at high speeds. changed everything i could think of but no cure. was going to change the dist so took the cap off to swap it and happened to glance at center of rotor, was half eaten away and you could see where it had been arking right trough the center of it to the dist shaft. replace the cap and rotar and now it runs perfect (no DUH coments please, already feel foolish for not checking that first)
