turns over, but no start

1995 blazer, turns over but no start??? i have spark. just changed fuel filter. just had a tune up 2000 miles ago. what do you think?

When you first turn the key on, do you hear the pump running?

The easiest way to check the fuel pump is to take the line off of the back of the fuel filter and get someone to turn the ignition on. Make sure you have something under the fuel line to catch the gas.

update. I jumped my car today with my brothers mustang. started right up. i let it run for 15 mins. then turned it off, to see if it would restart on its own. i tried and now, nothing happens at all. before i would hear my pump sending fuel and the car would turn over. now. i hear nothing and nothing happens when i turn the key. not even a sound. everything still works in my car. windows, radio, dash lights. suggestions?

Clean the battery terminals and while you have them off check the voltage.

Yea, sounds like the pump is not getting enough power to keep up the right pressure.

Seeing when you got jumped it worked, your battery is the problem. Time to replace it with a fully charged battery.

Or at least charge the one your have.

Now i have a different problem. I tried to jump start my car last night to bring it to my mechanic. and i was unable to jump start it. i can hear the fuel pump working, but it doesnt turn over....

Can you hear the solenoid engaging on the starter?

no. the only thing that i hear is the fuel pump. when i turn the key foward to start the car it does make the clicking sound. everything in my interior still works too...

Pop another battery in and see if it starts.

Chance are yours is shot and won't even accept a charge again.
