Ford Explorer Sprot Help

I own a 1996 Ford Explorer Sport. Yesterday i was in 4x4 Low and forgot to turn it off when driving home. Now it revs really high, the 4x4 Auto and Low lights flash while driving, doesnt gain speed very well at all. What can be the problem, please respond quickly if possible. Thanks

try putting the truck in neutral and then switching the switch back to 2wd, wait a few sec. and then go in reverse for about 10 feet. That should get you back to highway driving once again. if that doesnt work, we'll try something else.
