People Need To Learn To Drive

soooo i was driving today in wonderful West Chester, PA. sitting at a light waiting for the light to turn green....guy at the otherside of the intersection coming my way waiting for the light also. so the light turns green....and im waiting for this asshole to go and hes not going. so i take it upon myself to go. And of course when my passenger side front corner was in his lane of travel he decided to go also....almost as if he was waiting for me to get into his lane so he could rail me. and sure enough he railed me. he hit my passenger side rear rim and quater panel. well i did wut i was supposed to and stopped. after i stopped i looked to see if he stopped...he didnt. asshole tried running...so i went around the block to see him coming out of the street he just railed me on so i followed him while on the phone with the cops and then went to the police station and filled out the police report. and the cop was cool about it...he said since it was my rear quarter and his passenger front corner that it will most likely be put on him, also the fact that he ran didnt help him out any. well the cop was so cool that he had me escort him to the apartment complex so he could see the other car. well it wasnt where it was when i followed him originally. so we drove around and sure enough we found the car. red paint on it and silver paint from my rim on the bumber. the cop towed the car which kinda made my day. oooo yea the car isnt driveable....goes down the road sideways and the tire he hit is in all sorts of wrong directions.:wtf:...ill be taking pics tom and posting them up so you guys can see for yourself.

PA driving is hell. I hate driving on just the interstates up there too. Bump.....bump......bump......bump...... all the way through.

Dude if they total it buy it back off insurance from your money thats what i did with my 94 delsol they totaled it and all it needed was a door and a fender they tought the frame was bent but it wasnt so i payed them 250 to buy it back also making 6500 off the insurance money so i got all new goodies for it like c/f hood new fenders wheels and paint job then a month later when it was show ready i gotta take it to one show and then got back and some mofo in a 00 mustang gt tboned me doing 60 and put that delsol to rest it hit so hard the top wouldnt go on right..But you can buy it back and part it or something..Good luck later..

well the thing is that it doesnt drive straight right now...id rather not have a car with a salvage title. and i have a chance to buy a 1993 civic hatchback with only 38,000 on the motor. but i have a motor to put into this car i have now. b18a1 with everything. but if they total it im not buying it back and im giving the motor back to the kid that gave it to me....how much damage do u think its gonna take to total my car? i know its worth maybe 1100-1300 but thats about it. anyone know?

nah i already looked at it...control arms are fine....rear subframe where the lower control arms connect to the "frame" and is welded to the spare tire well is bent back on the right side.

that sounds like you definatly bent your frame there. Glad the guy that did it gets to pay for it though, friggen jack ass

No i wasnt saying to buy to fix just buy it back and part it out double your money if you dont you better pull every aftermarket part off your car you can cause one the insurance comes and gets it thats it..I know these things lol been in plenty of accidents to know this stuff and how it works..My brothers 95 lincoln mark 8 he had 3 15's in it and the system caught fire so they totaled it out and he paid 450 to buy it back he ended up getting it paid off and 4500 cash for it and also how he bought it back it still ran and he sold it for 3000...Also rebuilt titles dont mean nothing unless your picky but thats all i deal in beats paying 20 grand for something new when i can pay 2 grand for the same thing but a little damage think about it.Plus it gives me something to do...
