possibly going to purchase an 88 4runner... need info

its an 88 4 runner, 3.0 auto with 200,000 miles. my question is what problems are common at that mileage, it doesnt have the 22r and i dunno how well the 3.0's hold up and i have no clue about there tranny's (auto). all i do know is that its been very well taken care of, looks new but i dont think any major work has been done (not needed).

any info is much appreciated.

I have an 88 with a 3.0, 5 speed, with 160,000. She's never let me down...knock on wood. Basic maintenance only. Recently, I had the fuel injectors rebuilt and balanced, changed the valve cover gaskets, and did some other miscellaneous preventive maintenance work. Engine runs strong.
