Fog Light Lens Replacement (Passanger side)

Hello,

Could anyone give some tips on how to replace the passanger side fog light lens on a 1993 325i? I just bought a replacement, and I am going to try to replace it this week end. Any tips would be much appreciate, especially info on what screws to remove and how to access them.

if your just replacing the lense, take a look at the replacement and how it 'hooks' in on one side. hold it up to the one on the car and on the opposite side of the opening for the lamp in the bumper you'll see two openings. gently push a flat screwdriver into the upper opening, this contact the fixtures release tab and the lense will pop right out into your hand...........sometimes, BMW engineers actual think...........

Thanks for the reply. As you mentioned it is very simple. It is kinda hard to describe it but once you realize how the latch works it is quite a nice setup. For those who are doing this, two points to remember: 1)the lens pops out from the front 2) there is one latch that hooks to the lens in place.

Once the latch is freed the lens slide from the front. To figure out how the latch worked, I jacked the front side fo the car and went from beneath. Now that I know how it works, Jeff's method works the best.
