Is there a sensor or a relay for the radiator fan to work? And where can I find it.The engine is over heating.I've checked the hoses and put in a new thermostate.I pulled one of the hoses off and let the engine run to see if maybe there was an air bubble in it somewhere. After I did all of this I noticed that the fan wasn't working. Is there a sensor or a relay for this to work and where can I find it?

There is a low and high speed relay located in the Power Distribution Box under the hood, there should be a diagram under the lid showing you which relay is what, you can swap them around as they are all the same relay, there is also a 40 amp fuse in the there too for the Fans, it may be blown.

Check and see if the fans themselves work by disconnecting the electrical connector going to the fans. Get two jumper wires, and attach one to the power feed to the fan (on some, it's a green wire) and connect the black wire to a body ground or even the ground on the battery. If the fans work, your problem usually lies in the Coolant Temp Sensor; if that 's the case a check engine light would come on. If the fans do not work, you have bad fans.
