$1.97!!!! WOW, I wish I had it that good!!! ($2.09) My Iron Duke is nice and economical, but unfortunately I can't drive it much since my wife won't let me take our 8 month old son in it because it doesn't have a back seat. Never mind the fact it aced crash tests back in '84, the doors weigh 200lb each and are so heavily reinforced they could withstand an attack from a harrier jet, and there is no air bag to hit the child seat, it has no back seat, so it must be the death trap car from hell. Since it's normally ALWAYS me who ends up picking little man up from the sitter's after work, I'm stuck driving the Buick-o-saurus (White car in the pic) to work every day and spending $25.00 a week on gas. I'm hoping to pick up a Sunfire convertible this spring to replace it, even though I'm already get safety lectures about that. In case you haven't heard, if you have a convertible with an infant in the back seat, that you stand a 99% risk of rolling it over and killing yourself, the baby, and anyone else in a 500 mile radius. At least that's what my wife seems to think...

Okay Ive got an 87 Fiero Gt with a 3.1... It wont run right without 97 octane which is 2.19 here. My car eats it too.

Still $2.09 here, maybe Wisconsin is being punished for preferring Kerry.... (I'm sowwy George W, really sowwy, now drop my gas prices)
Looks like I HAVE to drive my Fiero now seeing as I backed my Buick into a semi trailer at work (when they say objects in mirror are closer then they appear, they aren't kidding!!!) and took out the rear window. Oh well, every cloud has a silver lining.... Good thing I did it today because tomarrow I had planned to pull the Fiero in the garage and start gutting it.

Prices have dropped $0.05/gallon in central Florida since the election. Anywhere from $1.92 in Orlando area to $1.97 on the east coast. Better than the $2.02-2.06 prior to the election.

Prices now down to $1799 for regular. You only will get 30 mpg in a GT if you drive very conservatively, on the highway at a constant speed.
