I don't think anyone here has seen my ride and mods I've done so I'll post some pics here in a sec. Also, answer my poll on whether she's a keeper or seller.

Here are just a few shots I got from my driveway. My camera aint the best but It works.

This is an 1990 std (base) model civic hatchback. It had about 117k on it when I bought it and and was in pretty bad condition. I replaced the exhaust, radiator, cv joints, a whole vinyl seat, and a full size spare for the winter time. I've done so much more to her since. I've added a rear wiper, si steering wheel, intermittent wipers, console, gauge cluster, rear pods, rear red center piece, 13 eagle alloy rims, mudflaps, clear corners and a lip. She currently has about 128k on her and running. And since I've fixed most exterior and interior pieces, I'm hoping now to replace some engine and suspension pieces here shortly.

As you can see, the paint on this thing is still stock. I have probably one of the best 4g paint job around town. My guess is that the previous owner kept her in a garage and kept her clean. Shoot, I have yet to find a single spot of rust on her. She sure is a jewel.

This is my lip that I got at a local junkyard. It's off an 87 civ si and actually almost bolted right up. I looked and looked for a good 89-91 civ lip but just couldn't find any. It looks good though, I highly reccomend it.

I got bored one day and decided to get rid of my headrests which are ugly as hell. I had two crx seats lying around (both passenger seats) and I thought they looked good. I cut open all headrests, swapped the metal brackets and foam glued them back together. It worked well and alot of people question on how I got them. That's what makes her special.

Here's a good pic of my insides that I did. I put on an lx-4door steering wheel (same thing as an si wheel), I did the cluster swap with a crx dx one but it's an auto but I just took a black permit marker and nicely marked them out. THen I have a 4-door center console that goes arond the shifter. I'm really proud of that. I got the clock from the same 4-door too. Then I have a Panasonic head up front that is sweet as hell. I love it.

Now this is one thing that I'm really proud of doing. I'm the first person in 4g history to actually put a rear wiper on my base hatchback. Usually everyone takes theirs off. It took me almost a year and alot of trips to the junkyard to get her on there. I made sure that it would bolt on and it did. The trickiest thing was the drilling of the hole for it. I had to get it right or it wouldn't work. Fortunally it worked and I'm so satsifyed with it, especially during winter. :)

Well, hope you like the pics, I'll post more soon once I get batterys for the cam. Any comments on her?

I say build. Its alot more fun/rewarding when you have a car that's stayed with you over the years and you've made it nice then to just go out an buy some nice car....

Agreed. There's much more love from me for my 4th gen than if I just bought some newer stock car and drove it. Modding is fun fun fun.

The car above - Looks like a good start.. I think it needs the front and rear bumpers matched, and to be lowered desperatley.
And a 90-91Si front lip would look a lot better. You can get them at Honda for cheap.
(p.s. - I hate seat covers with a passion)

The only reason I have them is so the winter time, I won't freeze my ass off. I'm tired of that vinyl crap that's on there. But I'm still on the look out for some good seats. I bet in spring time, the yards will get some new wrecks in and maybe I can find some si seats.

And yes, I know, the 13's are kinda small but they do match the car quite well I think. In the future ( If I keep it) I will certainly get 15's or 16's on there and possibly lowered too.
