Check out the interior of the WRC Subaru: www.swrt.com/488977.html Now look at the picture that shows the whole interior. Look at the center console. What in the world do all those buttons do? There's like twenty or thirty buttons there! Is he like typing an email as he drives down the street? Scrolling through the preset Norwegian radio stations? And what do you have time to reach down and punch a button to do at 120kph down a dirt road in the rain? And also check out the missile launcher switch in the middle, with blaze orange shield. I can see it now...
Co-driver: "Hard right over short hill 40 left."
Driver: "Hang on a sec while I change the settings on the windshield wipers--"
Co-driver: "GOAT!"
Driver: "Fire ze missiles!"
Co-driver: "But I am le tired."
<splat>
Does kinda make you want to spend a couple hundred thousand dollars making your car into a WRC car, though, doesn't it?

Click: "IMPREZA WRC2004 COCKPIT GUIDE"
You can click on the center console to open a larger image, and mouse over each button to see the function. ;)

Wow... that is one of the coolest sites ever. I'm definitely showing all my friends. My new goal: install all those buttons. Except I'm going to add a missile launcher button instead of the extinguisher, and put the extinguisher somewhere else.

Ooh! Good idea! You could also put a pop-up toaster under the brake lever! That way you could have bagels or scones, too!
