Model # of Si and DX tranny for CRX SL3? or L3?

My old tranny said "SL3 207284-234" or whatever #'s after the sl3, then the new si says "L3 20945720"

is that model # right?

Yes correct L3-X(serial number)XX....
that is the model number. I dont think a l3 is an si tranny because my stock one was a l3 on the d15b2. But not sure!

L3 is the code for all 88-91 manual trannys. you need to look by the fill plug. there will be another code in a circle

if its a Si tranny it will say PL3/x000
if its a dx/hf tranny it will say PL3/Ax00
