What those this light indicate

I have a 1985 205 GLD and next to the heaters indicator I have another indicator like a jar of war half full. This used to be always off while I was driving but lately while driving it started to blink for a few seconds then go totally off. After some more driving it will redo again.

Any one has an idea what does that light indicate.

i think its your water catch tank, diesel has alot of water in it and this removes it, it usually gets dumped on the floor so maybe there is a blockage.

Does it do it on higher revs or if you are coming up a slope?? Water tank. Try a top up. 205's are prone to the actual sensor going faulty due the heat in the area, if you have water in the tank and the temp gauge isn't over excited I wouldn't worry about it - infact if the light annoys you disconnect the sensor on the back of the tank.
