JDM H22A Automatic TCU???

I recently did a swap with a 92-96 JDM H22A engine w/ automatic transmission into my '93 Accord. I'm using the P-13 ECU from the H22A but the shifting of each gear is incorrect. I was told by the shop that did the swap that I needed to find a JDM H22A TCU to make the transmission shift at its correct point. Right now, it's not shifting correctly because I'm still using the Accord's TCU, thus shifting at the Accord's normal shift point. Can anyone confirm if this information is true? Thanks in advance. :banghead:

Sounds good to me, if you didn't change the TCU then it will shift at the same points that it was with the old transmission. All you've changed is mechanical parts, the TCU doesn't know that there is a different tranny attached to it and the ECU doesn't control shifting.

But how would I know which TCU will work with my H22A? I have an OBD1 P-13 ECU from a 92-96 Prelude. Thanks.

Get the transmission code and find the TCU that works with it. Or look up the ECU code and year and see which TCU was paired with it...you might try asking the person/company that you bought the engine/tranny from.

Thanks...I'll do that! You know anyone on this board that have this similar issue? I would like to know how they went about doing this.
