Hello all.
I am thinking about an S4 due (in part) to the Quattro (I live in Minnesota, lots of snow!). My question is how critical winter tires would be? Any of you driving an S4, in the winter, w/o snow tires? What are your opinions?
Thanks!

I don't drive an S4, but I drive an A4. I am an avid skier and live in Utah so the car gets quite a bit of snow driving here too. Probably not as much ice driving, but a lot of snow. I have never used snow tires on my car personally, but I am contemplating it this winter. I drove a friends car with snow tires, and there was definately a difference. w/o the snow tires though, it still handles really well.

Thanks Cbass94! I am glad you had first hand experience with snow tires, b/c I have not, and I really did not know if it made *that* much difference.
