Well thought I would try this to share ideas, suggestions, and find answers to problems with various cars of my own...and in helping my neighbors, friends, and relatives. Just a few basic alerts I suggest to many ..... and sometimes I can tend to oversimplify or generalize....but .... change the engine oil and filter every 3k, maintain that cooling system, change the auto trans oil and filter every 20k, install external auto trans coolers in the vehicle, & change those timing belts/chains (especially if the engine has an interference head) well in advance of the factory's recommendation....I've found that those basic few things can save hundreds and thousands of dollars in preventing premature drive train failures.
