Man this sucks, over the past 8 months i went from like 205 to 255. It's so funny how when i was working, it was so much easier to eat well and diet, but now that i was home for the past 8 months it was fast food city. Anyway, i'm gonna start putting in applications monday to get a job which i feel will go well. My last job i worked at for 3 years and the entire company/chain went under. From nov 2002 say march/april 2003 i went from 260 to 205lbs, it was great, i was a size 48 waist/xxl shirt then went to a 38 waist/large shirt.

Now, i'm back to where i started, 255ish :-( My main problem is, i LOVE food.. Some people eat to live, and others live to eat-i'm the second one. It is so damn hard dieting at home also, when my mom buys all this crap and such/BUT, that i'm ok with, it's me, the late night white castle demons haunt me :-)

Heres another thing, everyone around me is like "oh look he got fat again"-that sucks. An outlook for myself, well i hope say in a month i have a job, stick to a routine diet and lose the weight, and thats it.. I never reached my goal of 175lbs though..

Please people, cheer me up.....

In case you wanna know how i lost the weight-originally.

breakfast/ oatmeal or high fiber cereal w/skim milk

lunch/ coffee w/low fat muffin or snack

dinner/ either one piece of pizza (cheeseslice) or chicken with vege's/beans etc.

Fruit anytime, LOTS of water-well, about 1/2 gallon a day *(you don't wanna pee ALL the time)*, gum-for the bad breath that comes with dieting, and honestly, the biggest helper was caffiene. I had one large coffee in the morning/evening, then small after dinner-it curbes the appetite.

I dont care what anyone says about how bad it is for you but cutting sugar and flour from your diet is the EASIEST and FASTEST way to loose weight.

^agreed. Once you lose sugars, your solid. Just eat protein and think of what your going to look like when your all through losing that weight.

Go slow don't cut out everything. Slow and steady. I just started W/W last week. I have put on in pounds what my 18yr daughter weighs in the last year!!! It's the heighest it's ever been so it's time to do something.

See, for me, it's very easy to lose weight-i can lose up to 6 lbs a weeks with a strict diet, AND exercise-everyday.

BUT, i LOVE food-who doesn't-thats the main reason i cheat, and gain the weight back. Man it felt so good last year when i was thin (200lbs).

Remember that sugar = fat if not properly treated.

Maintain an intense cardio program, time willing. Cardio's effectiveness is based on duration, not intensity.

Eating less is an option, but your addcition to food can only be stopped by wokring it off, or supressing the desire. Neither option is an easy road. You sound fairly teenage and therefore have a huge appetite like myself. Once your older this will go away some, so you might be safe saying this is just a long phase right now.

Even so, lots of cardio, less food, less caffeine despite how well it works and no fast food. Absolutely none. The sugars and fats in fast food are probably singe handedly what's causing this. If you must do fast food,s tick to subway, a pita place or something remotely healthy.

Laslty, it may be your build, some people are just destined to never be a certain weight.
