no idea here, i've never worked on integras before. the only import i've ever owned was a '92 accord, which i sold to buy my '89. never regretted it.
i'm glad you're proud of your car, in the end that's all it's really about. but i think you'll have some serious money to put into it yet before you'll beat too many modified mustangs. put it this way: if you have a 5.0, 5-speed, you can add cold air, full exhaust, a tall rear gear, and tires, and you'll be running mid to high thirteens. they run high 14s stock. a 100 shot of nitrous (small in v8 terms) will have you running high 12s. all of this can be done for about 2 grand. plus the cost of the vehicle, which is 1-3 grand. and that's not even getting into the induction, heads, bottom end, and suspension. plus a lot of guys supercharge, which usually removes a second and a half or so (note gross generalization, it varies a lot). in order to get your car to run high 13s (prolly runs low 16s stock you have to really dive into the engine, since gearing is not much of an option. in my own opinion, a good quality turbo kit plus ignition mods may be your ticket. but in the end, this is really a question for your fellow integra guys.

Stangnut pretty much said it. Your gonna need some boost. Ignition couldn't hurt, also consider a chip though. I have fully built motor and a with a dyno tuned chip i got 90 more RWHP. Although i have highly modified 331 with boost/ignition/dyno tune w/chip you could see similiar results.

i kno that but mustangs look gay so i didnt buy one. not that i couldnt have if i wanted to, its just a lot of girls drive mustangs so i didnt want to be part of the "gay" crowd or whatever. i could have boughten 2 mustangs for the price of my LS teg

bassically you wouldnt have to do anything to your integra to beat a mustang. Mustangs are modeled after wild horses, this only suggests that the tires will break down fairly quik, being that mustangs never had horse shoes.

really? is that because of the rumor i heard about mustangs not being able to handle their torque?

what about when professionals on TV like Gary Coleman say that they cannot handle their torque, who are you to call Gary a lier.

Gary Coleman was not the only one. I definitely remember wrestler 'the big show' informing viewers about mustang owners lack of torque handling skill in one of his post match interviews.

If Mustangs can't handle there Torque then why did they run them in Nascar back in the 60's. And when the Boss 302 and 429 came out why did they dominate the scene? Just some thoughts. And if could have bought two mustangs for the price you paid for your Honda, then you got ripped off my friend. A good friend of mine has a base RSX(inegra-Body model DC5) and he did quite a bit of work to his car to be able to beat a stock stang. Hes not finished yet but he told me that he can't beat a stock GT yet. Sorry, just throwing my two cents into this.
