fuel pump---Not

I initially worte that I had a fuel pump issue. I took a look at a gallon of gas weighing 2.2 lbs. and havign a nearly 35 gallons and thought that the tank should go to the dealer.

It turns out that I had a loose wing nut on the air intake. The one with that big ugly box. The air mass meter was getting too much air and cutting the gas flow.

2.95 in parts and 90 in evaluation. Now that is an expensive fix. Not having to pull the gas tank...priceless.

so the dealer is wrong, the fuel pump was the issue.

Now they want me to pay them again for the diagnostic. Not going to happen. gosh they should be able to get to the conclusion, they made the damn thing.

Good luck..... wait till ya get the bill for the pump replacement. Get a case of K-Y at Walmart, you will need it
