Hey all--here is the latest:
EVERYTHING WORKS!!!!
except: I have air bag light and ABS INOP light on in the console.
I am goning to replace the rotors and pads so I will check the speed sensors in the hubs when I have it all apart. (which should take care of the ABS light.)
I found a donar car and took out the air bag sensor (behind the emergency brake handle). WHat do you folks think of changing my old sensor with the one I got from the donor car to make the light go away. (Here is my fear--the donor car was in an accident and the pass. side airbag deployed. Will that switch/ sensor reset itself so I can put it in my car or, will it get power and shoot the air bag of my car out too..?)
OR: will replacing the sensor even put the air bag light out.
Any direction in this issue will be helpful.

what u need to do is find out what the computer says the problem is. you can change the sensor, but u might just have a dead airbag...

but when I ask the guys at Advance to run a code for this they say their code readers are only for check engine light...

The dealership would be able to trace the problem with the air bag if your willing to pay them an hours labor for diagnostics.

you have to go to the dealer cause the abs has its own control unit that determines its functionality. my buddy got it done for like 15 bucks or something...
