Ecu

Hey i want to do a diaganostics test on my car, and i dont know where my ECU is on my 2.0 95 Vw Jetta III GL? Can anyone help me out. I feel like such an idiot because i just built 3 engines for this car and fabricated a body kit for it and put on my rims and exhuast, and yet i dont know where my ECU is. Soo i need some help in the direction of the ECU..please help? thanks.

ECU is under the plastic cowl cover under the wipers on the right. Diagnostics plug is next to the cig lighter. I think the door slides.
