I have new tires on my 1999 K1500 Suburban. They have been balanced three times and I still have vibration between 60-72 mph.
before I purchased the new tires there was no vibration.
I have replaced the u-joints.
What's the solution?

What brand are the tires? Try talking to the reps of the tires brand. What store did you buy them from? Dave

The tires are the new Firestone Destination A/T. After they balanced the tires 3 times, I had them put a new set on. I still have the vibration thing going!
Very frustrating.

Vast Lane,

I am having similiar problems with 2002 Avalanche. Check out my reply under Avalanches. I would check on the sleeve bearing for the drive shaft. I've heard it fixed a problem on another Chevy truck.

I had a friend take it to a reputable shop and they have said that it is the front gear box. about a 1,000 dollar repair! OUCH!
