i am ready to change my flat bags to springs.
can i use a front strut from a 95 taurus?(New $39.00)
someone told me i needed to use my old strut because it is electronic, and install a spring on it.

In 1995 Ford changed the front struts on the car from being hydraulic air struts to electronic air struts. The taurus struts you refer to will not work on a 95 continental. However, there are companies that do offer conversion kits for your year model car. The conversion kit for your year model consists of four coil springs to take the place of your defective air bags. You can use the same struts, although some companies offer a conversion kit with new front electronic struts, effectively changing your car to the current Continental suspension. If you need any kind of help at all with tech advice or if you need recomendations for cridible vendors please feel free to send me a pm or just post back and I will be glad to help as much as possible.

I don"t know if tarius strut will work. I finished replacing air struts on 95 Lincoln. cost 150 dollars each. their is no valve on top/but elec valve you put on so no light will come on. Struts at auto store 300 each. I bought mine e-bay.500 dollar saving. ringo 7
