Not too sure about the window but, funny enough my door light was out when I bought my Silverado. You have to remove the door panel to change the light. Kind of a drag but, it only takes about 7 minutes to pull the panel off. Let me know if you want to know how to do that.
A thought about your window see if you can change the pins that pivot the window in and out maybe you can put something in a little thicker in diameter?

About your window. Go to the dealer if its still under warranty. I had the same problem about two weeks after i bought my truck, but my window fell out. It doesn't take them too long to fix it if they have the parts.

when I pulled off my door panel, some of those cheap plastic one way pins broke, I used a good quality puller (looks like a big shoe horn) Is there something I did wrong? And I know what your thinking " yea you did something wrong , YOU did the work!

If it's the new body style, you have to take the whole panel off because it lifts up and away from the door from the bottom. Don't worry, it's still faster and easier than the old doors with those crappy plastic push pins that always bent or broke.

You need to remove the whole panel to do it. All you do is remove 3 screws and lift the panel up and away from the door.
