Headlight aim

I took the headlights out awhile back and took out the orange reflectors and repainted the chrome matting black. So now my headlights look really cool, but they're aimed funny. I can't find any way to re-aim them, and I didn't notice whether or not they were aimed funny before I took them out (probably not). Actually, it's not that bad, so it wouldn't bother me if there's no way to do this, but the drivers' side headlight is aimed a little higher than the passenger side, so it's kind of annoying to oncoming drivers (so says a friend of mine who has been that oncoming traffic).

In my Impreza, there's no up-down adjustment; only side-to-side. My are crooked from my accident repair...

I changed out my bulbs with the Silverstars and now it seems like they are pointed up slightly. I cant adjust them, least if you can i havent found the way. Anyone know what to do?

I'm pretty sure the bugeyes have a screw that does up-down adjustment, don't know about any other models. I would imagine if the bugeyes have it the new ones would too...

I just seem to remember taking mine out one time and trying to take out some screw I didn't know what it was, and by the time I figured it out the lights were aimed all wonky and I had to reset it. Might be wrong though cuz it's been a while since I've even had the stock lights in.

Yeah, I've dug all around in there... there ain't no adjustment. My old Mustang had a screw like you were saying, and it even had a level on top to tell you when it was aimed right. No such luck on the '04 WRX. Oh, well. I'll have the techs look at it the next time I go in for a <freebie> oil change.
