Fuel line cover options for rear tire well.

I don't know about the rest of you, but my fuel line cover has taken a beating. I've looked at other Xterras (even 2000's) and there is a bolt or snap that attaches it to the frame. Mine didn't come with that attachment and has since had a hole ripped in it. Any options for improving this area? Ben, did your lift-lips cover this area?

I would almost rather have a metal version that's a bit tougher to take the abuse my SSR's seem to give it.

Thoughts?

Just leave it off. Mine went in the trash last year after it got ripped off by the tire.

Since then, the tire has bent the 2 mounting tabs up and out of the way, and the tire no longer touches the fuel filler tube. It's all steel where contact can be made, so there are no worries about damaging it.

Good to know. I hadn't seen what's behind the plastic.
