Amplifier Problem Stang Audio Is Down!!! Please Help!!!

well I have a jensen lxa400 4-channel amp and it powers on the protect don't come on but when I hook a speaker into any of the 4 terminals they just move forward or backward and no sound is produced maybe a pop or cracking sound thats it i disconnected the RCA jacks and it still does this ??? PLEASE HELP ME

my first impulse would be to check the switches on the amp to make sure none of the cross overs have been swapped by accident. then i would try hooking up another amp to your same wiring plan then i would send the amp back for another one.

well the amp has worked fine up until now its just when you hook up a speaker now the speaker moves up or down and makes no sound and amp lights go dime also it kinda makes a crackle sound then stops thats it
