2002 530 test signals

The other day with the ignition in the first own position, I held the trip odometer reset button in for several seconds and saw a message of "test 1". A consecitive push of the reset stalk showed messages of "test 2" to "test 20" . Any answers as to what i did and where can I find info on these test? Thanks
