Hey what's up everyone. I just bought a 99 eclipse gst and im gonna up grade to a newer Turbo. There are so many too choose from Garrett, Greddy, Mitsubishi and so on. I'm looking for more hp and quick spool with not to much lag. Im looking at 300 to 400 hp. If you guys can give me the make and model number that be great, so I can get more info on those parts. Because if im going to do this i want to do it right the first time. If i have to spend abit more money and get less probs in the end then im laughing. Mods that are already done. intake, exhaust, bov, turbo timer, adjustable boost, and gauges not really a mod. buget is around 5 to 6,000.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.

All of those companies make good turbos so your gonna want to go more into detail about what you want. How much HP do you hope to acheieve, how much do you have as a budget, where do you hope to reach full boost, What about supporting mods? Trust me, this is a difficult choice. I have like 4 different threads about upgrading my turbo. Ask kevin how many questions I've been asking him........ (Thanks for all the help kev.) But anyways, put a little more information and we should be able to help you out.

Well if you're wanting 300hp at the wheels while still maintaining quick spool, then I would check out the EvoIII Big 16g turbo - EXCELLENT turbo for 300-350 whp. Go to www.dsmtuners.com and check out the list of vendors for places to purchase this and other turbos. Good luck! :)

The 18g is physically larger, but I dont think its run as fast as the regular 16Gs have. If you want a pic, search for one on google or something. Thats what we would have to do to get you one ;)
